Recount Mayoral Votes 11/28/07 Wednesday

In Alyssa Passeggio's Blog, it was noted the recount will be held on Wednesday, November 28th, per Matawan's Democratic Chairman, Joseph "Bud" Mullaney. Good luck to both candidates.
Will someone do something with the Train Station....it is a disgrace!

May the candidate that will be best for Matawan win.

The train station, is gone i think it should be knocked down.It just looks like a hazard to me,everything is crumbling in matawan the station, the grand old high school never had a chance , half of the houses on main street are crumbling, the day laborers at 7-11, the protesters at c-town,the dams, the bacteria water which they say is safe, stores opening and closing on main street .councilman ripping political signs out at 11pm at night lol all this in a town 2 miles wide folks lol. only in new jersey people the only state not to vote for lincoln twice lol keep voting them in folks .

Can't argue with what you are saying Jesse. Makes people really want to move to Matawan. (sic)Matawan is suffering from urban blight! NJ Transit has been negligent in maintaining that building. Why is there no committee formed to be a liason between Matawan and NJ Transit? We have a Recreation Committee to beautify the parks. While we are waiting for the Redevelopment appeal couldn't we be working on ideas for the train station before it collapses. Are we going to wait until it falls down and injures or even worse kills someone?

Thanks for the recount update why the change in date ? Well the only thing we can do is pay for a bulldozier and some containers cause that building is to far gone what a shame. lets start a drive to not save it but to save lives and knock it down. lets see if we can get a demo company to help donate for nj transit and show the place some mercey.

Claire French has nothing to do with it. The attorneys had conflicts on their calendars. The Judge makes the calls at this time.
